2 Lady Vikings Finish All District in Tennis!

Yesterday, the Lanier Tennis Team competed in the AISD District Tennis Tournament at Whitaker Park. The Vikings battled throughout the day. This past weekend the Lanier Tennis Team kicked off their spring season. 16 vikings traveled to Akins High School to start their spring season. The Viking’s had a great opening weekend. Lanier Tennis Starts the Season off Strong

Despite losing many seniors last spring, the viking tennis team showed up to their first match against Crockett High School. The vikings won the match 9-8, starting off their season with a strong morale. The vikings are excited for what’s to come this season. Their next match will be Tuesday, September 13th against McCallum High School.

The Lanier tennis team traveled to Cedar Creek Wednesday for day two of districts. Cynthia Morales started off strong against LBJ winning the first set, but loosing the second set to split sets.
