Vikings News · Viking Baseball Shuts Out Reagan 11-0 on Sr. Night, Prepares for Bi-District Playoffs


Luis Adame threw a shutout to lead the Viks past Reagan 11-0 on Senior Night at Nelson Field.

The Vikings got things moving in the first inning with a leadoff single followed by 2 stolen bases by Adame to start a 3 run run 1 st inning.

Lanier plated runs in each of their 4 innings on the night, the offensive firepower led by Ethan Jean, Marcos Heimann and Luis Adame. The Viks tallied nine hits in 4 innings. Luis Adame and Zach Heimann had multiple hits for Lanier. Marcos Heimann led the Viks on the bases with three stolen bases, as the Viks ran wild totaling 11 stolen bases on the night.

Luis Adame was dominant on the mound going five innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out 12 and walking zero.

 

The Vikings have secured their place in the post season and will represent District 25-5A in a Bi-District matchup May 4th at Nelson Field vs. Kerville Tivy.
